recently took my savage from cleveland ohio
to wytheville virginia just under 400 mile one way
over 800 miles in 2 days. didn't use 1 drop of oil
and never got hot even after 9 hours of 65-70mph
with temps in the mid 80's. rode 2hours in a total
down pour till had to stop becaus couldn't see
in front of you(my goodhearted girlfreind washed
my nylon rainsuit and used fabric softener so it
was no longer waterproof but i smelled good)but
the bike never missed a beat. no complaint other
than seat comfort even with add on gel pad (and
after awhile my pillow)but when got bad was time
for gas anyway then good to go for anothe 150 miles
(by the way 63mpg was very economical).travellrd with
my future father-in-law on his bmw and he
was ready tostop before me
